Job Title: Academy Psychology Lead
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academy Psychology Lead to join our team at Colchester United. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering psychological support services to enhance player performance and development.
The ideal candidate will hold a Psychology degree at Masters Level, be accredited by the British Psychological Society and/or the British Association of Sports & Exercise Medicine, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance profiling of all Academy players
- Design and deliver practical interventions to improve player performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop evidence-based research and applied practice
- Support players through formal and informal strategies
- Ensure compliance with regards to Sports Psychology provision
Requirements:
A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this exciting opportunity. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
