We are a dynamic and innovative team at BAE Systems, working on exciting projects in the field of electrical systems engineering. We are seeking an experienced Lead Electronics Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of our engineering solutions.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics and communication systems, with experience working in different engineering lifecycle phases. You will be responsible for delivering technical input and engineering solutions in support of build activities, defect resolution, and change management.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical input and engineering solutions in support of build activities, defect resolution, and change management.
- Produce documentation required to support the design review process.
- Undertake design reviews and presentations to customers.
- Review relevant supplier documentation and ensure it is captured and recorded appropriately.
- Provide technical support to integrated performance and acceptance activities.
Requirements:
- A relevant Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background.
- Demonstrable experience of working in different engineering lifecycle phases.
- Proven track record of system or equipment design in communications and/or electronics.
- Technical report writing skills and experienced in requirements definition and management.
- Experience of digital data networks.
