Job Summary

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Power Curve Engineer to join our Performance Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing wind turbine performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions to optimize power curve performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze wind turbine performance data, including power curve analysis, to identify areas for improvement
  • Review technical customer questions and reports, and provide answers and reports to customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements from a service perspective
  • Provide direct support to service technicians in troubleshooting stopped turbines for repair tasks
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides (VGAs)
  • Ensure technical knowledge is shared within Technical Support and Service

Requirements

  • Technical degree or Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or mechanical or marine engineering or equivalent
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
  • Technical background, with experience in data analytics, statistical analysis, and experience in tools such as Python, R, or similar
  • Knowledge of wind turbine control systems (VOB, Toolkit, VTM, etc.) is an advantage
  • Working experience from the wind industry is an advantage
