About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ground Engineer to join our Ground Assessment team in the Energy sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our ground engineering services, with a focus on the energy sector.

Your primary responsibilities will include planning and supervising field investigations, analysing data to determine soil properties, groundwater levels, and ground stability issues. You will also prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and other stakeholders.

As a collaborative team player, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including civil engineers, architects, and contractors, throughout the project lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from planning and execution to data analysis and report writing.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be degree-qualified in a relevant engineering subject, such as geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, geology, or a related subject. You will also have experience of supporting projects to assess ground conditions, with a strong understanding of UK & Ireland geology and geotechnical / geo-environmental principles.
