Experienced Highways Traffic and Transportation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Highways Traffic and Transportation Engineer to join our consultancy team at Carrington West. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-profile highways projects that enhance and maintain the local road network.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject and extensive experience in highway and/or civil engineering design environments. They will also possess strong ICT skills, including competence in specialist computer applications used to support engineering design activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and managing the delivery of highway-related construction and maintenance projects.
  • Providing specialist design, technical, and cost advice to internal and external clients.
  • Acting as an ambassador for individual schemes and the Company across professional, business, and community events and networks.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a leading pension scheme and various wellbeing initiatives.
