Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our team as a Physical Health Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the physical health care of Mental Health service users in accordance with national guidance and standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support on physical health monitoring and treatment services to Mental Health service users.
  • Act as an advisor to staff, helping to train and educate on physical health prevention and promotion.
  • Promote and facilitate the delivery of high-quality health improvement interventions, including smoking cessation and healthy eating initiatives.
  • Work with the Physical Health Team to lead on good practice around physical health care and infection prevention.
  • Support the development and analysis of physical health audits.
  • Complete and maintain patient care records in accordance with Trust policy.
