Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Satellite Communications Engineer to join our team at Connexa Careers. As a NavCom Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining GMDSS and navigational equipment, as well as VSAT satellite broadband systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct VDR-APTs and radio surveys
  • Install, repair, and maintain GMDSS and navigational equipment
  • Install, repair, and maintain VSAT satellite broadband systems
  • Support retrofit projects, including bridge installs and system integrations

Requirements:

  • HNC/ONC/NVQ or equivalent in Engineering/IT
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of electronic/electrical engineering
  • Valid driving licence and passport
  • GMDSS Radio Operator/Maintainer License (preferred)
