NavCom Field Engineer Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of Satellite Communications and IT-managed solutions, is seeking a skilled NavCom Field Engineer to join their team. With over 50 years of experience in the Government and Maritime sectors, they offer a range of services including broadband VSAT, navigation, and GMDSS systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct VDR-APTs and radio surveys to ensure optimal system performance.
  2. Install, repair, and maintain GMDSS and navigational equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Install, repair, and maintain VSAT satellite broadband systems to provide reliable and high-speed connectivity.
  4. Support retrofit projects, including bridge installs and system integrations, to enhance customer experience.
Requirements:
  1. HNC/ONC/NVQ or equivalent in Engineering/IT.
  2. 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Knowledge of electronic/electrical engineering.
  4. Valid driving licence and passport.
  5. GMDSS Radio Operator/Maintainer License (preferred).
