Overview

At Lookers, we are seeking an exceptional sales professional to join our team as a Senior Automotive Sales Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who share our passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving business growth.

Salary: £50,000 OTE, including £25,000 basic plus uncapped commission.

Job Description: As a Senior Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be the key point of contact for customers, responsible for providing exceptional service, building strong relationships, and achieving sales targets. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer needs, suggesting suitable vehicles, arranging test drives, negotiating prices, and ensuring seamless sales processes.

Responsibilities / Key Skills:

  • Effective communication with customers through various channels to maintain high customer service levels.
  • Listening to customer wants and needs, and offering suitable vehicle suggestions.
  • Organizing and accompanying customers on test drives.
  • Negotiating final sale prices.
  • Completing relevant paperwork for each sale.
  • Following up with customers after each sale to ensure satisfaction with the process.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, passionate about your work, and ambitious. You should also be willing to learn and develop your skills to achieve business objectives. A full UK driving licence is essential, as you may be required to drive some of the most prestigious vehicles on the market.

Working Hours: The role involves working 44 hours per week, between Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm, and Sunday 10am to 4pm on a rota basis, with one day off mid-week and every third weekend off.
