This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance leader to step into a high-impact position and make a significant impact as part of the Hobbycraft Finance Team.

You will report directly to the Head of Finance and collaborate closely with the CFO and Head of Commercial Finance. Your primary responsibilities will include leading a team of three management accountants, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic analysis.

  • Manage the period-end close process and deliver timely and accurate management accounts and MI packs for Board review.
  • Coordinate and consolidate the annual budget and mid-year re-forecast, working with stakeholders across the business.
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making, including profitability assessments, cost evaluations, and business case preparation.
About You

We are looking for a finance professional with a proven track record of success in financial reporting and team leadership. You will bring:

  • A full accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with complex financial models.
  • A strong background in period-end processes, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and develop a team.
  • A commercial mindset, analytical and solutions-focused, with a proactive approach to delivering insights.
What We Offer
