At SWAAY Child & Adolescent Services, we are committed to providing high-quality residential care for vulnerable young males aged 11-18. As a Children's Home Manager, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive home environment that enables our young people to thrive.

About the Role:

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of placement plans and risk assessments, ensuring accurate records within the house in line with legislation and company policies.
  • Provide staff supervision and training, as well as performance management and support.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for our young people, adhering to The Children's Home (England) Regulations 2015 and Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a Degree in Social Work (or equivalent qualification).
  • Achieved or be working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Management in Residential Childcare.
  • At least 2 years' experience working with children/young people – preferably with emotional or behavioural difficulties/disrupted attachments.
