AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Wet Utilities Project Director to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the wet utilities team and ensuring that project design teams comply with project execution plans.

Job Summary

You will utilize your broad multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering to serve as an advisor within wet utilities and develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality, cost-effective work by the team.

This includes design management, project management, and BIM management plans, which must be adhered to throughout the project delivery process. You will also carry out performance reviews of staff within the team and act as a mentor, while monitoring and tracking budgets for overall projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical effort/man-hours for projects.
  • Support the team on complex projects by appointing the right resources and implementing budget control.
  • Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings, serving as Lead Verifier.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Mechanical Engineering Degree.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to act as Project Manager on mid to large size discipline-specific projects.

Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year.
