Role Overview

Cambridge Credentials' Energy & Utilities team is the largest business area within their broader Infrastructure Group, providing advisory services to major clients in the sector.

About the Position

An experienced Associate Director is sought to lead projects covering water and energy infrastructure, including new nuclear generation, onshore and offshore networks, interconnectors, and other major assets.

The Projects business focuses on designing new markets and advising on delivery models for major infrastructure projects and programmes. They advise companies, developers, bidders, and regulators on delivering major infrastructure assets and competitive procurements.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial advice on large and complex projects.
  • Manage client engagements on a day-to-day basis.
  • Oversee the development of high-quality client outputs.
  • Operate at a senior level with developers, investors, and regulators.
  • Build enduring client relationships and become the go-to person for structuring and financing major projects.

This role requires an expert understanding of utilities and energy sectors in the UK, with a focus on utilities infrastructure and major projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of working in financial advisory, leading teams, and winning and delivering advisory services, supported by a proven reputation in the sector.
