Job Title: Bank Chemotherapy Nurse

Leaders in Care is seeking a skilled and experienced Bank Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team on a temporary contract basis. As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to oncology patients in their own homes, working closely with our team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer chemotherapy treatments, including IV and oral chemotherapy, to patients in their own homes
  • Conduct blood tests, toxicity assessments, and other diagnostic procedures as required
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on chemotherapy and its side effects
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication administration records and treatment plans
Requirements:
  • Active NMC Pin and registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
  • Experience in oncology, haematology, or chemotherapy is essential
  • Cannulation and venepuncture experience is required
  • Driving license and reliable transportation
  • SACT Passport or equivalent qualification
