Bank Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist

Leaders in Care is seeking a skilled and experienced Bank Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team on a temporary contract basis. As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to oncology patients in their own homes, working closely with our team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer chemotherapy treatments, including IV and oral chemotherapy, to patients in their own homes
- Conduct blood tests, toxicity assessments, and other diagnostic procedures as required
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on chemotherapy and its side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication administration records and treatment plans
- Active NMC Pin and registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
- Experience in oncology, haematology, or chemotherapy is essential
- Cannulation and venepuncture experience is required
- Driving license and reliable transportation
- SACT Passport or equivalent qualification
- Competitive hourly rate of £43-£48 per hour (based on experience)
