Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strategic alliances with key suppliers to improve overall supply chain performance in line with company objectives.
  • Actively manage supplier performance to ensure delivery of critical customer contracts.
  • Continuously work with existing or new suppliers to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets and increase overall business profitability.
  • Manage a team supporting production material buying, strategic supply chain management, and procurement for new products.
  • Assess, identify, and monitor staff skills and training requirements to avoid exposure and skill shortages to the business.
  • Assess and monitor workloads, efficiency, holiday, and effectively manage staff resource levels and report potential shortfalls.
