Safety and Quality Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health, and Environment Manager to join our team at RGB Recruitment in Exeter. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for our employees, stakeholders, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with HSWA 1974 and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify and assess potential hazards, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
- Provide Guidance and Support: Offer expert guidance and support to our project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to maintain high standards of safety and quality.
- Manage ISO Management Systems: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of our ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 management systems, ensuring seamless integration with our business operations.
- Collaborate with External Agencies: Liaise with regulatory agencies and external partners to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- NEBOSH General Certificate: Hold a recognized NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent HSE qualification.
- Experience in Construction: Possess significant experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Laws: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of current H&S laws and legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
- Passionate about Health and Safety: Be genuinely passionate about promoting a culture of safety and well-being within our organization.
