Pastry Sous Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at a prestigious Michelin-starred restaurant in London. As a Pastry Sous Chef, you will be responsible for mentoring junior staff, creating innovative desserts, and maintaining high standards of quality and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement pastry menus that showcase creativity and sustainability.
  • Lead a team of pastry chefs in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and presentation skills.
  • Collaborate with the head chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of chocolate tempering, molding, and crafting chocolate decorations.
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role in a Michelin-starred or high-end restaurant environment.
  • Proficiency in various pastry techniques, including dough preparation, pastry creams, custards, and cakes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train junior pastry staff.
