About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead our construction team in Stafford, United Kingdom.

The successful candidate will have expertise in cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiation, with a strong track record of delivering projects efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive cost plans and budgets for construction projects.
  2. Analyse costs and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  3. Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery and budget compliance.
  4. Manage project cash flows and budgets to maintain financial stability.
  5. IDentify and mitigate commercial risks to minimize losses.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and legislation.
  7. Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to achieve project goals.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proven knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
  • Full UK driving license.

Compensation Package: Competitive salary (£60,000 - £80,000 per annum), performance-based bonuses, pension scheme, healthcare benefits, and flexible working options.
