As an Accounting Assistant - Infrastructure, you will be responsible for various financial duties, working closely with the Infrastructure Finance Manager.

Job Description
  • Financial Support: Provide assistance to the Finance Manager with financial reporting, Ledger Account reconciliations, and other responsibilities.
  • Nominal Ledger Management: Undertake nominal ledger tasks, including journal processing, cross-charges, and period-end reconciliations.
  • KPI Analysis: Analyze and report KPIs and non-financial information to support service delivery and contractual commitments.
  • Balance Sheet Assistance: Support the Finance Manager in preparing balance sheets and performing robust reconciliations.
  • Operational Reconciliations: Conduct monthly payroll and large operational reconciliations.
  • Programme Support: Collaborate with the Finance Manager on infrastructure programme responsibilities.
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with a strong background in finance, experience with finance software or ERP packages, and a passion for continuous learning. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, flexibility, accuracy, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work positively under pressure.

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
