Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered SCPHN Nurse to join our Compass team in Warwickshire. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing health and well-being services to school-aged children and their families.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and committed team, delivering key elements of the Healthy Child Programme. You will provide professional leadership and direction to a skill mix team, enabling the efficient and effective delivery of our programme alongside other services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide health and well-being services to school-aged children and their families
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver the Healthy Child Programme
  • Develop and implement public health initiatives to promote the health and well-being of school-aged children
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to health and well-being services
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

Registered Nurse qualificationSpecialist Community Public Health Nursing qualification (SCPHN - School Nursing)Previous experience in caseload management and mentorship/preceptorshipExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage changing prioritiesStrong leadership and management skillsWhat We Offer
