Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Claims Technician to join our team in a home-based role. As a Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting clients and their customers with queries, maintaining a robust diary system, and recommending payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for clients and their customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Maintain a robust diary system to ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Recommend payments and produce client reports and letters.
- Liaise with contractors and external suppliers to achieve efficient outcomes.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience through proactive management of subsidence claims.
- Work towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification, fully funded by the company.
Requirements:
- Claims experience dealing with any insurance risk.
- Customer-focused, organized, and hardworking.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to deal with demanding customers in a sympathetic but firm manner over the telephone.
Working Arrangements:
