Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for newly qualified registered nurses to join our team and develop their skills in a supportive environment.

We are seeking individuals who have recently qualified or are due to qualify as adult nurses with experience in an acute placement in an NHS Trust.

As a newly qualified nurse, you will be enrolled onto our Acorn Programme, a preceptorship programme that allows you to complete your initial competencies in a friendly and supportive environment during the first 12 months of your career.

The post holder will provide a high standard of nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of patient care.

Key responsibilities include working closely with the department/ward manager and multi-disciplinary team members in monitoring and maintaining policies, standards of nursing care, staff and service development within the department/ward environment.

  • Current Registered Nurse with the NMC or working towards

Skills

  • Ability to use computers and software such as Word/Excel or the equivalent

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
