About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Tutor to join our team at the LMP Group. As a Lead Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and training to our students, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective learning sessions, using restorative practice to support student development across core subjects.
  • Manage student behavior, reporting any incidents to your line manager and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to encourage progress and improvement.
  • Develop and implement activities and resources to meet the needs of students, working closely with school leads to set targets and monitor progress.
  • Support students' social, emotional, mental health, and wellbeing, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Teaching or training qualifications, with experience working with students aged 11-16.
  • SEND experience, particularly with ADHD and ASD students, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
