We are a recruitment agency based in the Witham area, seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our team. As a part-time employee, you will be responsible for managing internal financial accounting, supervising financial reporting and budgets, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Salary: The salary for this role is negotiable based on experience, but we can offer a competitive package of £32,000- £42,000 per annum.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal financial accounting, including monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Analyse financial reports and present findings to stakeholders, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Supervise financial reporting and budgets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review company financial reports and identify areas for cost reduction, proposing solutions and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify risks and research business performance influences, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and present statutory accounts to Trial Balance Level, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage all payroll, VAT, and HMRC returns, as well as weekly cash flow forecasts.
  • Oversee the purchase and sales ledger, ensuring efficient management of accounts receivable and payable ledgers.
  • Monitor financial details to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • AAT level 4 accountancy qualification.
  • Experience in using Sage, Excel, Word, Access, and Paperless software.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical thinking and data-driven approach, with ability to provide insightful recommendations.
