Pixomondo, a leading visual effects company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior VFX Producer to join our team. As a Senior VFX Producer, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-level visual effects for feature films, television series, and commercials.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage overall schedules and budgets for projects, ensuring timely delivery and staying within budget.
- Collaborate with the VFX Supervisor to cast and motivate a team to deliver VFX projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Track and record changes to the scope of work, verifying change orders with clients.
- Work with resourcing teams to plan crewing for shows and ensure staff are assigned work throughout the project duration.
- Set up projects with appropriate production workflows and anticipate special project requirements.
- Act as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships that foster client confidence.
- Report project status and correspond with clients on bids, progress reports, approvals, and costings.
- Negotiate with clients while maintaining a strong working relationship.
- Manage project milestones and deliveries according to the implemented schedule.
- Ensure all project deliverables are determined and shots are managed and delivered according to schedule.
- Work with the finance team to ensure invoices are sent according to contractual or pre-determined schedules.
- Monitor Bid vs Actual costs.
- Manage, guide, and support production teams on projects and mentor less experienced Producers.
- Liaise with key support departments to ensure a positive artist experience.
- Extensive experience in VFX production, including knowledge of post-production techniques and terminology.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to quickly assess relevant information and make effective decisions.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and well-organized, with the ability to grow and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience producing complex CG & VFX projects.
- Highly organized with first-class time/project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent client and crew management skills.
- Proven ability to manage high revenue budgets.
- Ability to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work within a team towards a common goal.
- Thorough understanding of live-action and CG-based VFX workflows.
- Good knowledge of MS Office packages (including Word, Excel, and Project).
- Experience using Shotgrid software.
- Fluent written and verbal English.
- Current residence in the UK or Germany is required for this position.
- Relocation costs are not covered for these positions.
