About the Role:
Your primary responsibility will be to proactively contact schools and introduce and promote our absence insurance solutions. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, resilience, and a results-oriented mindset to generate leads and secure appointments or interest from potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily outbound calls to schools within a designated area.
- Introduce our absence insurance services and explain the benefits tailored for educational institutions.
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through research and initial conversations.
- Maintain an accurate and updated database of leads and contacts.
- Client Engagement: Handle objections effectively and persuasively communicate the value of the product.
- Build rapport with school administrators and decision-makers.
- Appointment Setting: Secure meetings or follow-up calls with key stakeholders for senior sales team members to convert the lead into a sale.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques.
- Ability to build trust and rapport quickly over the phone.
- Capable of handling rejection and remaining motivated.
- Effectively manage calling schedules to maximize productivity.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Excel, and telephony tools.
- Prior experience in telesales, cold calling, or a Customer Face to Face role.
- GCSEs or equivalent; additional sales training is advantageous.
