We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join our Fluid Mechanics team. This role will be based in the UK and will involve working on a variety of projects, including those related to gas dispersal, hydraulic performance, sewage flow, and rail carriage wind interaction.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or chemical engineering and experience in developing computer programming solutions to engineering problems. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on a leadership role within our team. As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading technical delivery teams and ensuring that projects are completed to budget and schedule.

You will also be expected to deliver high-quality engineering studies and reports, as well as communicate complex technical information to stakeholders. Additionally, you will be required to maintain high personal standards in quality, health, safety, security, and environment.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in industry
  • Competent problem solver with sound understanding of engineering principles
  • In-depth knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
  • Proficiency in use of commercial CFD codes (Siemens Star-CCM, ANSYS Fluent)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present data clearly
  • Strong academic background with a relevant honours degree or equivalent

Estimated Salary Range: £85,000 - £120,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
