This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications, and upgrades all from this site. Strategically located just 14 miles from London, our Biggin Hill Service Centre is ideally positioned to support operators in the UK region and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage supplier capability assessments, involving planning, conducting on-site assessments, and compiling assessment outcomes.
- Contribute as a supply chain expert in the conduct of on-site supplier assessments to review supplier performance with a focus on supply chain and planning.
- Review supplier performance related to finance and human resources processes.
- Identify gaps and improvement opportunities for supplier's supply chain processes and governance to improve planning and thereby enabling better supplier performance.
- Prepare and maintain a log of supplier risks, agreed-on corrective/improvement actions, follow-up, and track improvement actions as an outcome of the assessment.
- Collaborate with appropriate team members to track and resolve recurring supplier issues/risks.
- More than 7 years of supply chain and operations experience across sales and operations planning or inventory planning in industrial manufacturing.
- Knowledge of key systems/tools used in a planning environment – sales forecasting, ERP, MRP, etc.
- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to link capability assessment outcomes to business objectives.
- Strong technical aptitude, with knowledge of MS Office applications (including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word).
- 70% travel requirements.
