Job Summary

The Repair Determination Inspector is a critical role within our organization, responsible for conducting detailed inspections to determine the extent of damage or defects on aircraft components. The inspector uses specialized knowledge and experience to assess reparability, repair options, and costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process and final inspections on civil aviation articles in accordance with current technical data.
  • Ensure thorough familiarity with inspection methods, techniques, aids, tools and equipment used within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Maintain proficiency in using inspection aids and ensure that inspection tools and equipment are in proper working order.
  • Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer of the article(s) being inspected.
  • Ensure all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification (Diploma or Professional Certificate) with background in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical).
  • Minimum 2 years experience in related inspection processes.
  • Knowledge in C7 rating and ATA 72.
