**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Vets for Pets as a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our veterinary nurses in their daily tasks, mentoring student nurses, and ensuring a supportive and thriving workplace.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the veterinary nursing team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and high-quality service delivery.
- Mentor and develop the skills of junior veterinary nurses, providing coaching and training to help them reach their full potential.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies, providing input on nursing-related matters.
- Contribute to the development of the nursing team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and service delivery.

**Requirements**

- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional Saturdays on a rota basis.
