About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients and customers
  • Oversee and implement menu changes to ensure a diverse and appealing range of options
  • Identify opportunities to improve our food services and implement changes to enhance the customer experience
  • Listen to and act on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
  • Support the creation of new menus and creative food concepts to stay ahead of the competition
  • Represent Chartwells - Schools and maintain a positive brand image
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure our kitchens are well-stocked and maintain high standards of hygiene

Requirements:

  • Passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification
  • Experience supervising a team and managing kitchen operations
  • Experience in a similar Chef role and a flexible approach to working
  • Food Hygiene certificate and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene
