Austin Fraser is recruiting for a talented Mechanical Equipment Technician to join their team.

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

The Mechanical Equipment Technician will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of plant equipment. This includes conducting regular inspections, developing maintenance plans, and implementing process changes to maximise uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment to identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance.
  2. Develop and implement plans to improve plant reliability and reduce downtime.
  3. Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of maintenance activities.
  4. Analyse engineering data to inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree/HNC in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • IOSH Certified preferred.
