About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planner to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects
  • Advising clients throughout the development lifecycle
  • Managing EIA screening and scoping processes
  • Preparing Environmental Statements, including reviewing technical input
  • Leading environmental teams, overseeing Environmental Impact Assessments, and preparing environmental and planning-related reports
  • Contributing to single and multi-disciplinary proposals bids
  • Financial management of project work

You will have the opportunity to work in a truly multi-disciplinary environment, giving access to a broad knowledge base with the support of experts across the business.

About You

We are looking for a strong environmental planning professional with:

  • Experience working in the energy sector or a related field
  • Chartered status or working towards chartership
  • Broad understanding of environmental issues and disciplines
  • Working knowledge of different consenting regimes and development management procedures
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and financial management of projects
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels

You will have the ability to manage and mentor those around you, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
