About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planning Specialist to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our planning team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, including managing EIA screening and scoping processes, and preparing Environmental Statements.
  • Advise clients on environmental and planning-related matters, including reviewing technical input and preparing reports.
  • Lead environmental teams, overseeing Environmental Impact Assessments, and preparing environmental and planning-related reports.
  • Contribute to single and multi-disciplinary proposals bids, as well as the financial management of project work.
Requirements
  • Strong environmental planning experience, preferably with experience working in the energy sector.
  • Chartered or working towards chartership with a professional body such as the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage and mentor those around you.
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and financial management of projects.
