Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

Human Capital Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in London. As a leading Building Services Engineering Consultancy, we specialize in the design of super-prime residential, five-star hotel, mixed-use, and listed buildings.

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be involved in projects that are architecturally led and innovative, from RIBA Stages 2 - 4. You will work in true partnership with the client or architect, using your technical design skills to demystify, simplify, and clarify client needs. Projects include the UK's largest zero-carbon developments, a hotel in Spain, a grade II listed museum, eco-villas in the Caribbean, and an ultra-high-tech luxury home in central London.

Our team has a modern and spacious office in a bustling area, with immediate access to a variety of brilliant restaurants, bars, food markets, and unique shops. We prioritize a unified and friendly company culture, with weekly and monthly social activities and wellness initiatives. As a medium-sized practice with around 30 MEP Engineers in London, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and benefit from easy access to our founding directors.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing and delivering electrical systems for complex projects
  • Collaborating with clients and architects to understand project requirements
  • Developing and implementing innovative solutions to meet client needs
  • Leading and mentoring junior engineers to achieve project goals

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer
  • Strong technical design skills and knowledge of electrical systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
