Engineering Production Management Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Production Manager to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK in Derby. As a key member of our Engineering Producibility Team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and methods.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in an engineering or related technical discipline and previous experience in manufacturing engineering and/or process engineering. You will be accountable for influencing new designs, improving existing product designs, and creating production technical instructions.

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits including bonus, employee support assistance, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and methods
  • Influence new designs and improve existing product designs
  • Create production technical instructions
  • Manage First offs, new part numbers, significant method resequencing, and introduction of new tooling

Requirements:

  • Degree in an engineering or related technical discipline
  • Previous experience in manufacturing engineering and/or process engineering
  • Fundamental knowledge of DFMEA / PFMEA
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team
