Role Overview

This Catering Staff Member position requires a self-motivated individual with previous experience in kitchen/catering/cafe environments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, setup, and serving to students.

Key Duties
  • Ensure that all food handling and preparation practices adhere to food hygiene regulations.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and dining furniture in designated areas.
  • Assist with setting up and moving dining furniture in designated areas.
  • Comply with health and safety, food hygiene, and COSHH regulations at all times.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by the School Catering Manager based on service requirements.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate can expect to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that meals are prepared and served to students on time. The role involves regular lifting and carrying of heavy equipment and supplies, as well as standing for prolonged periods.

Salary: £25-30 per week
