About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Health Visitor to join our team in Eastleigh North / Eastleigh South. As a Health Visitor, you will be responsible for delivering the Healthy Child Programme, particularly the 6 High Impact Areas, using evidence-based practice. You will work closely with the community, children, and families to provide personalized care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, focusing on the 6 High Impact Areas.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment skills to support caseloads.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure excellent partnership working and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of personalized care plans for children and families.

Person Specification

Essential qualifications include a Registered Nurse/Midwife, BSc Hons Public Health Specialist Practitioner (Health Visiting) or equivalent, NMC Registered Part 3, Nurse Prescriber, and Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable qualifications include Child Branch Registration or similar qualification, Mentorship Module, and Evidence of ongoing learning and professional development.
