About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optometrist to join our team at Asda Stores Ltd. As an Optometrist, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our optical department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients and provide clinical advice and treatment as required
  • Coach and train the wider team to maintain high standards of patient care
  • Develop and implement new patient services to meet the needs of our customers
  • Work closely with the Optical Manager to create an environment that combines clinical and operational excellence
Requirements
  • Fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
  • Registered performer with your NHS area team or health board
  • MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda)
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
