About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our team at Bettridge School, a Special School for pupils aged 2-19 with varying learning difficulties. The successful candidate will provide general class support, empowering and supporting pupils to achieve their best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Support pupils with challenging behaviors and complex medical needs.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Degree in Education or related field (desirable).
- Experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits
- Competitive salary: £25,584 - £26,835 per annum (pro rata) + SEN allowance.
- 30 hours per week, term time plus inset days.
- Fixed Term Contract until 31/08/2025.
