Residential Conveyancing Paralegal Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team in Buckinghamshire. The ideal candidate will have a background in Residential Conveyancing and excellent communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal with client, solicitor, lender, and estate agent queries, whether face-to-face, by phone, or by email.
  • Manage files, including AML checks, updating correspondence, and ensuring compliance with SRA regulations, lender requirements, and firm procedures.
  • Provide administrative support, including photocopying and scanning.
  • Prepare quotes for clients and draft completion statements.
  • Assist fee earners in preparing reports on title, mortgage, and search reports for clients.
  • Raise enquiries and respond to requisitions.
  • Conduct online searches.
  • Use the Land Registry portal to order official copies, leases, and title plans.
  • Generate Stamp Duty Land Tax calculations and submit applications.
  • Draft forms such as AP1s and TP1s.
  • Prepare and submit bills, receipts, and payments to the accounts department for fee earners.
  • Use the Land Registry portal to submit registrations, respond to requisitions, and order official copies, leases, and title plans.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good computer literacy, including word, excel, outlook, and case management software.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of the conveyancing process.
