We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Early Intervention Team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist integrated clinical/counselling psychology interventions to service users on the waiting list for psychological therapy.
The role involves assessing, formulating, and offering interventions to service users, as well as working closely with the Early Intervention team to attend team meetings, offer consultation and supervision, and manage capacity effectively to respond to demand placed upon the service.
Main Responsibilities- To provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to patients and carers within the Bristol Early Intervention for Psychosis (EIP) Service.
- To clinically supervise/line manage trainee clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists, CAPs, and less experienced psychology staff, and other professionals.
- To contribute to audit, research, policy, and service development within the Early Intervention team.
- To develop and deliver training in psychological therapies for multidisciplinary staff.
This is a 2-day a week Secondment/Fixed Term post for 23 months. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, and experienced as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
Person Specification- Doctoral Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology qualification or equivalent.
- Post-qualification and further specialist training in specified specialist intervention.
- Supervision Training.
- Advanced training in CBT for psychosis and bipolar.
