Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Platforms Architect to join our team at DWP Digital.

About the Role

In this position, you will oversee data products and analytics that empower our teams to design, build, and maintain transformative public services.

You will deliver technical and architectural design elements of our Health Transformation services, working closely with engineering teams and digital stakeholders.

This is a unique opportunity to advise, steer, and influence decisions at the heart of DWP's digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop modern analytics and BI architectures, including Data Mesh, Data Lakes, and Data Lakehouse.
  • Develop schema and data acquisition designs that meet business needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data strategies that drive business value.
  • Collaborate with architects across DWP to drive resolution of technical debt.
  • Define tools and techniques for handling PI data on-prem and in the cloud.
