About the Role

As a Design Technology Teacher at Principal Education, you will be responsible for teaching technical skills to students in a secondary school setting. You will incorporate emerging technologies into the curriculum and foster a safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach technical skills like sketching, computer-aided design (CAD), 3D printing, soldering, and sewing
  • Incorporate emerging technologies like robotics, laser cutting, and smart materials
  • Foster a safe learning environment by teaching proper use of tools, machinery, and materials
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Design Technology or related field
  • Master's degree or PhD preferred
  • Expertise in design principles, engineering concepts, and technological tools
Compensation and Benefits

£50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
