About the Role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our CAD team as a summer placement student. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across our Transmission business, supporting the development of our internal digital collaboration practices.

During your placement, you will use your Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit software skills and BIM collaboration knowledge to support substation projects in the North of Scotland. Tasks will vary from creating & modifying 2D & 3D models, draughting drawings for planning and tender purposes, to supporting ongoing development of our internal digital collaboration practices.

We are looking for students who are studying HNC, HND or degrees inclusive of Computer Aided Draughting & Design/ Computer Aided Architectural Design & Technology/BIM. You will also be comfortable working to and setting stretching individual targets and using your own initiative to overcome challenges.
