Commissioning Engineer

Carbon60 is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the Water industry. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the effective and efficient commissioning management of mechanical, electrical, and public health services.
Key Responsibilities:- Review tender documentation to ensure design and commissionability, and prepare submission documentation related to commissioning and handover.
- Assist in comprehensive commissioning reviews at the design stage, reviewing mechanical and electrical specifications, drawings, schematics, equipment selections, and technical submittals.
- Prepare commissioning procedures, plans, and strategies, and liaise with project teams, building services managers, clients, consultants, and services subcontractors.
- Review sub-contractor commissioning method statements and comment as necessary.
- Visit sites prior to planned commissioning to ensure installation and building readiness.
- Organize and facilitate client/consultant witnessing of successful commissioning, including sign-off.
- Collate commissioning documentation for O&M manuals.
- Attend, report, and rectify commissioning/snagging issues post-practical completion.
- Knowledge of Commissioning Engineering.
- Good computer skills.
- Travel will be necessary.
- White/Black CSCS Card & SMSTS qualification.
