Accounting Officer Credit Management Specialist

As a key member of our Finance team, the Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process.
Key Responsibilities:- Invoice Processing: The successful candidate will be responsible for processing incoming invoices, including data entry, assigning to correct approvers, researching and understanding errors, and posting/matching invoices.
- Supplier Statement Reconciliation: Maintenance of a robust supplier statement reconciliation process is essential to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Intercompany Reconciliation: The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for intercompany reconciliation of AP invoices, including intercompany recharges.
- Support to Finance Team: The successful candidate will assist the finance team with sample evidence preparation for ABL, Internal, and External audits.
- Annual Audits: Support on annual ABL site and desk audits, reporting regularly to Divisional finance.
- Holiday Cover: The Accounts Payable Specialist will provide holiday cover for the AP role across the division.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Any other ad hoc duties that arise during day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will have previous accounts payable experience within a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to meet targets and deadlines and work under minimal supervision is essential.
- The candidate will possess the ability to accurately process numerical data, with a problem-solving attitude and good knowledge of Excel.
