About the Role

Silver Birch Finance is seeking a highly skilled Transactional Lawyer to join our small but growing Legal and Structuring team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management and drafting of legal documentation and processes for transactions, including corporate and funder-facing deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management and drafting of legal documentation and processes for transactions, including corporate and funder-facing deals.
  • Draft and assist commercial teams in negotiating deal documentation, manage legal conditions precedent, and implement external advice.
  • Support the development of new structures working in partnership with commercial and product teams.
  • Support commercial and operation teams where required for trade execution.
  • Provide ad hoc legal support as required in relation to business as usual corporate processes such as confidentiality agreements.
Requirements
  • Formal legal qualification and admission to practice law (preferably common law qualified).
  • The ability to draft and negotiate in Spanish, as well as English, is a preference given the firm's strong pipeline across multiple geographies.
  • Ability to work closely with commercial colleagues to extract key information and help turn good ideas into excellent and well-run transactions.
  • Curiosity is a must, along with a flexible can-do approach.
