Job Title: Duty Security Officer The Savoy

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Security Officer to join our team at The Savoy. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to Back of House areas, ensuring that staff have the correct level of access and use access cards correctly.
  • Issue and receive keys, create new staff IDs, and record relevant information.
  • Conduct regular patrols of Back of House and front of house areas to ensure doors are locked or open as required and fire exits are clear.
  • Monitor CCTV and report any unusual activity to Inhouse Security for further investigation.
  • Liaise with supervisors regarding the disabling of fire alarms during steam cleaning.
  • Ensure all accidents and incidents are correctly recorded and reported, and injured persons receive first aid or hospital treatment as required.
  • Monitor the Fire Alarm panel, Panic Alarm, and Showcase alarm panel.
  • Ensure a correct and efficient handover at the end of shift and maintain accurate records and the Security Log.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 13 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A confident and dynamic speaker able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Proven organizational skills, able to work well on your own and set and meet deadlines with quality results.
  • Applicable job-related skills as per Accountable Duties.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate.
  • Additional Health & Safety SIA CCTV Defibrillator or Fire Marshall/Warden training or qualifications.

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time position, and you will be required to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including days and nights.
