Project Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Projects Manager to join our team at Stockport Homes Group. As a key member of our construction and trading business, you will be responsible for delivering multiple contracts and ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational delivery of multiple planned works contracts, projects, and small works from inception to completion.
  • Ensure contracts are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Develop excellent relationships with the site team, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Provide project directions, focus, and consistency across each project.
  • Manage the safe delivery of repairs, small works, planned maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
  • Manage the utilisation of all available resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Be the key point of contact for the client, site team, and sub-contractors.
  • Ensure appropriate method statements and risk assessments are in place and all work is carried out in accordance with current health and safety legislation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience within a Project Management role.
  • A current CSCS Black card and NVQ 6 or equivalent in construction management.
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety in the construction industry.
  • Experience of supervising a large number of trade and multi-trade operatives.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Social housing projects is essential.
  • M&E experience would be desirable but not essential.
